Bilawal names Murad Ali Shah finance minister

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Tuesday named party leader Murad Ali Shah for the slot of finance minister in Sindh.

According to a statement, Bilawal congratulated the party candidate Syed Murad Ali Shah on his unopposed victory from PS-73 Jamshoro by-election.

The PPP chairman said withdrawal of opponent candidates against Syed Murad Ali Shah showed that Sindh was in complete consensus for the PPP endeavours for improvement in good governance in the province. Bilawal said the unopposed election also recognised and appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah under whom the party candidate won by-election unopposed despite venomous propaganda by the opponents.

“Now a full-fledged finance minister will sit in the Sindh Assembly and elaborate the party policies in distribution of financial resources meant for development and greater good of the province,” he added.
