On the special directive of the Punjab Home department, an ultra modern network of long range close circuit television (CCTV) cameras has been installed at all vital points of Forman Christian College (FCC) University.
Varsity Registrar Professor Dr Hamid Saeed Sunday said that all out efforts have been made for foolproof security in and around the campus. He said that all entry points, parking areas and academic blocks have been completely covered. He said that around 6,500 students are studying in different teaching disciplines in college and varsity sections and all of them have also been directed to display their college card on their chest otherwise entry will be denied.
He said that teams of the Home department also keep on inspecting our security system and expressed their satisfaction over arrangements.
He said that Security and Safety Director Lt Col (R) Rana Khaqan Mahmood also checks the security arrangements.
Saeed said that Rector Dr James A Tebbe never compromises on discipline, security and promotion of quality education.
“We have also established “Anti-Fraud Hotline” against corruption and fraud,” he said.
