Rejecting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s demand to include representatives of intelligence agencies in a proposed commission of Supreme Court (SC) to probe in alleged rigging in elections, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal termed the proposal “not applicable”.

“The PTI chief’s demand is illegal, irrational and beyond understating. It’s a conspiracy to drag Army into politics. The government is open for dialogue with Khan and we have never run away from talks. The government has already accepted Khan’s demand for formation of apex court commission. We have always stressed upon the need to sit on dialogue table,” Iqbal said.

The federal minister urged the PTI chairman to serve masses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and suggested to first make a Naya Pakistan in his own party-led province where people were “disappointed and protesting against problems”.
