*Three new children hospitals to establish in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur
In order to provide best treatment facilities and resolve health related issues of children, the government would construct three new children hospitals in three major cities of the province which would be cost about Rs 2850 million, said Punjab Advisor Health Khawaja Salman Rafique while presiding over a review meeting of Annual Development Program (ADP) of the Health department at the Civil Secretariat that gave approval to 65 unapproved schemes on Sunday.
The secretary health said that DCOs of districts concerned and divisional commissioners should be contacted to acquire the land for the project where the land is required.
He also said that consultants also immediately be hired for the projects and feasibility report be prepared on urgent basis.
Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti informed that the construction work on Children Hospital Faisalabad is being carried out speedily and the hospital would be completed soon.
