Blast reported near PTI MPA’s house in Peshawar

An improvised explosive device (IED) blast near the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Fazl Elahi Sunday damaged the walls and the gate of the house.

The bomb disposal squad said that four kilograms of explosives material was used in the remote controlled blast.

The blast damaged the house and car of a neighbour. Police have launched a search operation in the area.

As confirmed by Elahi’s driver, the relatives of the MPA said that Elahi has been receiving threatening calls from unidentified people.
