Police arrested three accused and rescued more than a dozen cops including two senior officers during an operation on Sunday.
Heavy contingent of police launched crackdown in Kacha locality of Karampur in Kandhkot to rescue 15 cops including two Station House Officers (SHOs) and DSP Kandhkot who were taken hostage by a criminal gang. During the operation, three criminals were arrested while several managed to flee. The police officials and cops taken hostage by the criminals were rescued safe and sound.
