Spokesperson of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah Saturday contradicted the reports of some newspapers which claimed that special powers given to the Rangers had been ended as a summary in this regard was not approved by the chief minister.
The spokesperson said that the CM House received a summary regarding extension in special powers of Rangers on 8th November and the chief minister approved and sent it to the chief secretary the same day.
The spokesperson denied media reports that the CM had received the summary 15 days ago and did not approve it. Such reports are fabricated and contrary to the facts, say a handout issued by the CM house.
