A blast outside the residence of a Baloch folk singer injured his son and niece in Dera Bugti district on Saturday.

A police official said that unknown miscreants had planted a landmine outside the residence of Sabz Ali Bugti, a well-known Baloch folk singer. He said Sabz Ali’s son Abdul Majeed, 7, and his six-year-old niece Nabila were seriously wounded in the explosion.

“Kids hit the landmine and there was a huge explosion,” he said.

The injured children were rushed to nearby hospital for first aid. However, they were shifted to Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab for further treatment. The blast also smashed windows of the residence.
