Police arrests two alleged terrorist, recovers hand grenades

Police have arrested two terrorist suspects during a crackdown on Thursday and recovered hand grenades from their possession.

On information provided by a student of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), the police conducted a search operation near Millat Road, Faisalabad.

During the raid, the suspects, pointed out by the student, were arrested and two hand grenades were recovered from their possession.

The detained terrorists got training from Taliban militants in Afghanistan and are suspected to be involved in terror activities.

The nabbed culprits were shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.

POLICE TAKE 16 SUSPECTS INTO CUSTODY IN RAIWIND

Meanwhile, police on Thursday apprehended 16 people during a search operation in Raiwind and surrounding areas.

These people had arrived in Raiwind from different parts of Punjab for a three-day religious gathering starting from Thursday

Police also confiscated identity cards of several others during the raid.

Those taken into custody were shifted to an undisclosed location for questioning.
