PESHAWAR-
Two soldiers were killed and at least 50 others were injured when a bus carrying Frontier Corps and Khasadar personnel collided with an oil tanker in the outskirts of Peshawar, private media reported on Thursday.
According to details, the bus collided head-on with an oil tanker near Zangli checkpost on Kohat Road, Peshawar. Two FC soldiers were killed on the spot while 50 others were injured.
The injured were rushed to Lady Reading hospital where many injured were reported to be in a critical condition.
The troops were returning to Peshawar after performing security duties during Ashura in Kohat.
Eyewitnesses were quoted saying that both the vehicles were over speeding that led to the accident.
