Local city Patwaris have refused to accept computerised system after denial of their demands by the Punjab government.
According to details, Rawalpindi Patwari Union President Qazi Hussain said that patwaris had staged a pen-down strike few months before when Punjab government refused to fill up their demands of medical allowance, residential facilities and salary increment, However strike was retracted after Punjab government made promise to accept their demands but so far the demands have not been fulfilled. He said we will not accept computerized system and will continue to boycott until the demands of patwaris are realised and filled up.
