Punjab Home Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada said Wednesday that all security agencies had been put on high alert as the presence of five terrorists in the city was suspected.
Khanzada vowed to better the security arrangements made for Ashura and said that every possible measure would be taken to ensure the security of citizens and their national assets.
Referring to the Wagah border tragedy, he said that they were wondering why the place was chosen for the bomb-blast and what the terrorists’ intentions were. Khanzada expressed determination to stop terrorism.
