LAHORE:-
At least four people were killed and nearly 20 others were injured on Thursday in a road accident near Lahore, a private news channel reported.
The report quoted police and rescue officials saying that the incident took place on Motorway near Faizpur Interchange when a passenger bus collided with a van.
Four people on-board the van died on the spot whereas 20 others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to hospitals by rescue workers.
Both the passenger vehicles were heading to Raiwind from Mansehra and Swat, carrying members of Tableeghi Jamaat for their annual congregation in Raiwind.
The accident caused a traffic jam on the Motorway near Ravi Toll Plaza.
