Two women and a young girl were burnt to death and several others scorched as a van caught fire due to CNG cylinder explosion on Sunday.
Police said that the incident took place near Monal police check post at “Daman-e-Koh”, which is one of the most famous tourists’ spot of the federal capital, where CNG cylinder installed in a passenger van exploded. The van caught fire after the explosion, resultantly two women and a young girl, stated to be hailing from Karachi, were burnt to death while several passengers received burn wounds.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene of incident and shifted the bodies and injured to Pakistan Institute of Paramedical Science (PIMS) for medico-legal formalities.
