The Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan, Mustapha Salahdine, extended an invitation to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to visit Morocco to attend global entrepreneurship summit in Morocco to be held on November 20-21.
In a meeting with the finance minister Sunday, the ambassador said it would be an honour for his country to receive the finance minister on this auspicious occasion. He said both the countries enjoyed excellent all round relations but their economic cooperation did not truly reflect the depth of these relations. He said the finance minister’s visit to Morocco could help trigger a phase of enhanced economic engagement between the two brotherly countries.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said it was indeed a great honour that among the African countries, Morocco was the first to host the prestigious Global Entrepreneurship Summit. He thanked the Moroccan envoy for the invitation to attend the summit and said it would be accorded due consideration. He also agreed that there was need to focus on enhancement of economic collaboration that could be reflective of the deep rooted bilateral relations.
