Karachi Corps Commander Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar Tuesday met Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad in Karachi to discuss matters of mutual concern and the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency.
The governor lauded Pak Army’s professional capabilities and termed the martyrdom of army personnel as a great sacrifice for the country.
He appreciated the strategies of the army, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies to counter possible militant reaction in Karachi due to the ongoing anti-terrorism offensive.
The Corps commander stated that the army would meet national aspirations and would not disappoint the nation.
