The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) stopped a man named Ahmad Basir from boarding a US-bound flight along with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri for travelling without complete documents.
Sources said Ahmad Basir did not posses any record of his Pakistani identification or any other documents. They said that the FIA also failed to find any record of Basir’s entry in its record at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. The sources said that Basir failed to satisfy FIA’s queries following which PAT President Rahiq Abbasi took him home.
