The Election Commission of Pakistan Wednesday announced to hold by-elections in the Sindh Assembly constituency PS-37 Jamshoro (Dadu) on November 29, 2014.
The seat has been vacated by Syed Abdul Nabi Shah. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on November 5 and 06, 2014, while last date for filing appeals against the decision of acceptance or rejection of nomination by a returning officer has been set for November 11.
Last date for decision on appeals by the election tribunals has been set for November 10 while last date for withdrawal of candidature will be November 11, 2014.
According to the commission, publication of revised list of candidates will be made on November 11 while polling will be held on November 29, 2014 (Saturday).
Meanwhile, the ECP has also appointed regional election commissioner Hyderabad as a district returning officer, District Election Commissioner Jamshoro as returning officer and Assistant Commissioner Taluka Sehwan District Education Officer Jamshoro and Assistant Commissioner Taluka Johi District Dadu as assistant returning officers.
