Minor girl killed, nine hurt in Karachi imambargah attack

A minor girl child was killed and nine people, including women, sustained injuries when unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade on a police mobile near an Imambargah at Aisha Manzil area on Tuesday.

According to sources, the assailants tossed a bag containing a hand grenade from a flyover, targeting a police patrol van near an Imambargah at Aisha Manzil. Nine people, including women, who stood at the entrance of imambargah suffered injuries while a nine-month-old child identified as Batool received fatal injuries.

The blast, that was heard far and wide, also damaged a vehicle parked nearby.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

  1. This is a very sad news, every day so many innocent peoples killed by Terrorist, but there is no action from PPP Govt. Always they used to tell lie in front of Media without any shame. Govt officials are living lavish life with 24 hours security for them and for their family. But for Poor Pakistani there is NO safety, Education, Standard of Life and NO FUTURE.
    This is very shameful performance of elected Govt there is no improvement in any area except BLACK FUTURE.
    If PPP Govt wants to elect next time, then improve efficiency otherwise this will be part of History of Weak Pakistan.
