Pakistan Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq has urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to end his sit-in like Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri and play the role of a responsible opposition party in the Parliament.
Talking to journalists in Gujranwala, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) have a long history of struggle for restoring and strengthening democratic system in the country.
Rafiq said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif plans to visit China early next month to sign various agreements about launching of power projects with the Chinese assistance.
He said politics of agitation will not be in the interest of country’s development and the PTI leadership should better wait for the next general elections.
