Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said on Monday that Pakistan Army was fully prepared to deal with Indian aggression on the Line of Control and Working Boundary.

During a meeting of the Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Aziz said India has been trying to send a signal to Pakistan that “if you want talks and friendship, you should drop the issue of Kashmir”.

He said Pakistan is all set to take up with UN Human Rights Council the issue of unprovoked cross-border aggression by India and the resulting civilian casualties.

Earlier, Information Minister Senator Pervez Rashid said Jawaharlal Nehru – the first prime minister of India – had promised the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.

“Even today Pakistan’s demand is the same that Indian leaders should honour the promise their elders had made,” said Rashid, while addressing the International Kashmir Conference.

Thousands of people participated in the Kashmir Million March staged on the streets of London on Sunday and called upon the international community to play its role for ensuring the basic right of self-determination to the Kashmiris.

The rally was attended by prominent leaders, including former prime minister of Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with his sister Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Muttahida Qaumi Movement and others.

  1. How about promise made by bhutto in shimla in 1971.
I thought he was your elder too. How bout balochistan? Didn’t you elders went there to capture them illegally. They were independent and their king never signed any treaty with pakistan. Pakistan is scavanging their resources ever since. According to pak bin Laden never lived in pakistan, dawood ibrahim doesn’t live in pakistan but world knows the truth. now you saying you are concerned about kashmiri muslims. How about local kashmiris in pok are being killed by sunni insurgents trained by ISI. Local youth is going missing, chinese soldiers are roaming in gilgit &baltistan. Also you are planning to annex gilgit baltistan from kashmir to lease out to china. Isn’t it contradictory to whatever you are claiming. Make up your mind first. Pak has no credibility on international stage. Pak is not more than a beggar looking for aid and scavenge on anything to survive.
