The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is planning to organise Local Bodies Elections in Khyber Pakhtumkhwa (KP) in three phases and the elections will be held in the last week of March 2015, an ECP source said.
Sources said that the ECP would start the process of preparing voters’ lists next month and the election schedule for KP would be announced in January 2015.
Around 120 million ballot papers and one million nomination papers would be printed, an official told a private news channel.
Regarding the biometric system, sources revealed that it would only be used in Tehsil Ghazi of District Haripur of KP.
