Dollar reserves dip to $13.46b

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country slid to $13.464 billion up to October 17, reported the State Bank on Thursday.

The reserves held by the central bank were counted at $ 8.787 billion while that of the commercial banks at $4.677 billion.

During the week under review, the SBP’s dollar reserves decreased by $95 million to $8.787 billion compared to $8.882 billion in the previous week. The SBP said to have made payments of $118 million on account of external debt servicing. There were no significant inflows during the week, it said.
