As many as 30 more dengue virus cases have been confirmed in Rawalpindi.
According to details, 30 further dengue patients have been hospitalised after which number of dengue positive patients has reached at 495.
Following the rapid increase of dengue virus Rawalpindi Commissioner Zahid Saeed has summoned immediate meeting to make discussion and recommendation over current dengue circumstances.
On the other hand, during an anti-dengue drive, Health Department sealed four places after discovering dengue larva and violating dengue SoP.
According to district officer for environment Mian Muhammad Nawaz, 55 different places including 41 tyres shops and 13 scrap houses were inspected during recent inspection raids while 586 houses besides 5,316 other places were inspected during anti-dengue drive since last two days in which water tanks of 37 houses were declared sensitive.
