A Karachi sessions’ court has served a notice to National Assembly Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah and two others in a blasphemy case.

The petition was filed in the court under Article 22-A by citizen Manzoor Ali Brohi and 22 others.

The petitioners contended that Shah had termed the word “muhajir” as an abuse which was liable to committing blasphemy.

They appealed to the court to order the registration of a case against Shah, Sindh inspector general and Karachi Brigade Police Station station house officer.
