Chief Minister of Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday announced to officially celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali on October 23, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, all government employees from the Hindu community would be given an official holiday on Diwali and will also be paid their salaries in advance.
The CM also issued orders in this regard to the Sindh Finance Department.
Diwali is one of the most colorful, sacred and loveliest festivals of the Hindus. It is celebrated every year with great joy and enthusiasm throughout the length and breadth of the country.
