*PPP leader advises Dr Qadri to open his eyes, calls MQM a good guest, PML-Q a tent party

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said that gone are the days when an elected prime minister was forced to resign.

Talking to journalists outside the Lahore High Court (LHC), Ahsan said that that mid-term elections will not take place in the country.

The PPP senator said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will have to withdraw his demand of prime minister’s resignation.

Ahsan, commenting on the gathering of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at the Minar-e-Pakistan, said that PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri should “open his eyes”. He added that there were millions in the gathering but had no enthusiasm.

He said that MQM is a “good guest” which joins and separates itself from the provincial government whenever they please.

The senator called Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) a “tent party” who does not have its own workers.
