*Three TTP members arrested

The paramilitary troops arrested three Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) linked terrorists and recovered arms during separate actions on Sunday.

The Sindh Rangers spokesperson said that the Rangers launched crackdown against TTP militants in Ahsanabad and Gulshan-e-Buner localities of the metropolis.

During operation, three terrorists, stated to be affiliated with the banned outfit, were detained besides recovering huge cache of arms and explosives from their possession.

The nabbed culprits were shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.

TARGET KILLER AMONG THREE KILLED:

Meanwhile, a target kiiler, Muhammad Faisal alias Makha, was killed in an alleged police encounter in New Karachi area on early Sunday morning.

Police sources said that Faisal was involved in 15 target killing cases.

Police also recovered arms and a stolen motorcycle from his possession.

In another incident, some unidentified persons opened fire and shot dead a hotel owner Aamir Jan in Malir area. Police have shifted the dead body to Jinnah Hospital. Another person was killed in firing near Water Pump. He was identified as Khaliq.

Police also arrested a dacoit after an encounter from North Karachi area.

A man was injured near Niazi Chowk in Lyari while a child sustained bullet injuries in Metrovil area.

FIVE KILLED, ONE INJURED IN VIOLENCE:

Five people were killed and one other injured in different violence incidents in the city on Friday.

Faisal, 30, son of Salman, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Degree Collage outside the Town Office Malir. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

In another incident, Amjid, 20, son of Ali Bux, was shot dead by unknown armed men in Shalar Goth, Malir. The body was shifted to Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Abdul Khalique, 55, son of Imam Bux, was electrocuted at home in Keamari area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Separately, Syed Abbas Ali, 50, son of Syed Afzal Ali, was killed by unknown armed men near water pump area. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, Umair Hussain, 28, son of Muhammad Hussain, resident of Lyari, was killed by unknown armed men near Malir river in Quaidabad. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

Fahad, 19, son of Ahsan, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Malir 15 Quaidabad. The injured was rushed to JPMC for treatment.
