At least five people were gunned down near Matiari over old enmity on Friday, police and hospital sources said.
They said the incident of firing occurred at Pehlaj Goth in the limits of Jakhrani police station Friday morning when two groups of Solangi community clashed. As a result, five people including Huzooran, Hakim, Mizam, Muhammad and his wife Meeran died instantly while one Qadir sustained bullet injuries and was rushed to Matiari Hospital.
Police reached the area and controlled situation. Further probe was under way.
