Summary for Poly Clinic’s extension sent to Cabinet

Capital Administration & Development Division (CADD) has sent a summary to the Cabinet for approval of a project about extension of Federal Government Poly Clinic.

The work on PC-I would be started as soon as approval is granted by the Cabinet for the project, Minister of State for CADD Barrister Usman Ibrahim said while chairing a meeting here on Thursday.

The minister emphasised that this project is important and its execution should not be delayed further. Therefore, he said, steering committee has been reorganised to expedite the work.

The committee comprises CADD minister as chairman, CADD secretary, CADD additional secretary, representative of P&D, Development director general, Development deputy director general, Health joint secretary, representative of Ministry of Finance, Poly Clinic executive director, representative of Pak PWD and consultative firm. Poly Clinic executive director has been nominated as project director.

The meeting was informed that PC-II has been approved (feasibility and soil testing etc) for which Rs 12 million has been allocated while Rs 55 million has been allocated for land acquisition.

Meeting was attended by the CADD additional secretary, CADD (Planning) director general, Poly Clinic executive director and focal person of the project.
