Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday directed authorities to remove all containers from Islamabad except those placed on Constitution Avenue.
Nisar issued the directive in order to facilitate the general public. He also directed the Islamabad police chief to take steps for improving the flow of traffic and to get all traffic signals in working condiction.
The Islamabad High Court and Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court have already issued orders to remove containers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
