Patrolling constables-turned-dacoits arrested

The Sambrial police have arrested two accused policemen of the patrolling police and their companion for looting the people on the main and link roads after their duties in the areas around the Sambrial city and SialkotInternationalAirport.

According to the details, village Gadiyaala-Daska based landlord Mohsin Raza was coming back home after receiving his guests from Sialkot International Airport, when he recognized two accused patrolling police constables Faryad Hussain and Mirza Zubair Baig, who were on duty there. The landlord recognized them saying that both of these accused constables of the patrolling police had looted him a few months ago near Sambrial. He informed the Sambrial police, which arrested both of the accused policemen of patrolling police Sambrial.

Inspector Rana Tariq Nadeem (SHO Sambrial police station) told that both the accused patrolling police constables have confessed their criminal activities and said that they had been successfully running an inter district gangs of dacoits, which had been looting the people for the last two consecutive years in and around Sambrial city and in surroundings of the Sialkot International Airport.

The  arrested accused policemen Faryad Hussain and Mirza Zubair Baig said that they had also two other dismissed police constables Aadil and Ashfaq as members of this “police-dacoit gang” and they were looting the people for the last two years. The dismissed police constables were now fugitive and police were raiding at various places for their early arrest.

The accused police constables were used to sell the snatched, looted and stolen motorcycle in various parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the SHO added.

Police have recovered several snatched and stolen motorcycles from the accused police constables and their third gang member Zahid, besides, recovering the gold ornaments and other valuables (worth million of rupees).  Police have sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case against them. Further investigations are underway, in this regard.
