Ministry warns of suicide attack on PPP’s rally

The interior ministry has expressed fear of suicide attack on the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) rally to be held on October 18 at Mazar-e-Quaid, Karachi.

The ministry has issued a statement saying a suicide bomber has entered Karachi for launching an attack PPP patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during the October 18 rally.

A warning letter has been issued in this regard by the interior ministry, after which the security plan has been revised. It has been decided that vehicles will be parked two kilometres away from the venue of public gathering. Meanwhile, the route of Bilawal Bhutto to Mazar-e-Qauid will be kept in secret. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will begin his political journey by addressing a massive rally at Mazar-e-Quaid on October 18.
