Environment Protection Agency (EPA), under anti-dengue drive has inspected 127 sites and sealed nine premises while four FIRs were also lodged against the rules violators.
District Officer EPA, Mian Mohammad Nawaz said that EPA teams also removed stagnant water from nine vulnerable sites on Saturday and Sunday.
Action in accordance with the law is being taken against the violators of the orders of the government to save the public from the spread of dengue mosquitoes, he added.
Mian Mohammed Nawaz further said that EPA teams visited total 127 points including 90 tyre shops, 21 junkyards/godowns, two nurseries and 14 under construction sites. He said vulnerable points are regularly being checked and special inspection is conducted to check dengue mosquito larvae. As many as 106 sites were declared clear of dengue larva as SOP was being followed there.
The EPA teams found dengue larvae at four places.
