Electronic Queue System coming in for transfer of properties

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to introduce new technology of Electronic Queue System / Fast Tracking System at One Window Operation (OWO) to facilitate the applicants for allotment and transfer of properties. The introduction of this electronic system is aimed to minimize the public grievances and it would help in processing the cases quickly and transparently.

The introduction of new technology at One Window Operation of CDA was decided in a meeting held here at CDA Headquarters, which was presided over by the Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed. On this occasion Deputy Director General, Nadem Abro, Director One Window Operation, Riaz Randhawa, Director Information Technology, Riffat Ali Khan and officers of concerned formation of the Authority were also present.

The new information technology system has been designed by the Information Technology Directorate of CDA for disposal of case related to transfer of property, building plans etc of Estate Management Directorate and Building Control Section, which would be used at One Window Operation Directorate to facilitate the residents of Islamabad promptly.

Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed directed the concerned formations of the Authority to ensure introduction of the new system on test basis in One Window Operation Directorate within a week time and provide the latest facilities to the staff and officers at One Window Operation. He said that under the new technology of Electronic Queue System / Fast Tracking System, residents would be informed via automated SMS about the progress and status in their concerned cases, adding that under the new system, Chairman CDA and concerned Members would also be informed about the status of the cases submitted at One Window Operation Directorate.

He said that under the latest system, citizens would get computerized receipt instead of manual receipt, which would be more convenient for the residents in connection with the redressal of their grievances. Member Administration and Estate informed that technology of Electronic Queue System / Fast Tracking System has been prepared by the experts of CDA Information Technology Directorate, adding that the new system would help in disposal of cases very quickly and it would also assure transparency. He directed the officers and officials of concerned formations of the Authority to utilize their best professional abilities and make best use of this new system to serve the residents of the Federal Capital in an efficient manner.
