Beats and Bose have agreed to settle their dispute over noise cancellation technology out of court.
Bose accused its rival of infringing on a number of patents in July and asked for a sales ban on certain headphones.
In the claim, the Massachusetts-based audio firm said it had “suffered and will continue to suffer damages” for use of its features on Beats Studio and Beats Studio Wireless. According to Bloomberg, Bose has now agreed to dismiss the lawsuit.
It has also asked the US International Trade Commission to end its investigation.
Apple acquired Bose in May for $3 billion, which saw co-founders Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine joined the company.
