At least five persons including four members of the same family were shot dead over old enmity on Sunday.
As per to police sources, five people named Fareed, Zulfiqar, Qaisar Abbas, Muhammad Nawaz and Sarfaraz of Ratta Matta village located near Chiniot were gunned down by their rivals Amjad Hayat and Umar Hayat when they were returning from Sargodha after a court hearing.
Chiniot DPO Abdul Qadir Qamar along with a heavy contingent of police reached the spot but the accused managed to escape from the scene. Police have formed three teams for the man hunt.
