The government on Sunday decided to challenge the Peshawar High Court ‘stay-order’ against the privatization of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGDC) in the Supreme Court, reported a private TV channel on Sunday.

According to sources, the privatization commission will file a petition before the Supreme Court on Thursday. Privatization commission sources revealed that schedules for the planned ‘road shows’ have not been altered and will go ahead as planned. The government wishes to privatize 10 per cent of OGDC which will rake in US$ 88,50,00,000 for the government.
