- PTI KP president issues show-cause notice to Naseem for making party’s issues public
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Javed Naseem was Saturday served a show-cause notice from his party after he accused KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak of using Peshawar’s funds for his constituency during a protest at Peace Park in front of Peshawar Press Club.
Addressing the protesters amidst slogans of “Go Khattak Go”, MPA Naseem accused the KP CM and his cabinet members of corruption and nepotism in the province, saying, “Khattak has done nothing to end corruption and Patwari system in the province while certain people with vested interests are befooling PTI Chairman Imran Khan.”
Naseem said they would get rid of the chief minister as he has prepared a list of his corruption cases and illegal appointments in different departments. He said he would stage a sit in at Grand Trunk (GT) Road and present evidences against Khattak on October 15.
MPA NEEDS TO SHOW CAUSE:
Meanwhile, PTI KP President Azam Swati issued a show cause notice to Naseem for “violating party discipline by conducting a media trial of the party leaders”. The MPA has been asked to respond to the notice within seven days otherwise necessary action would be taken against him.
Swati said that if the MPA had any allegations against any leader, he should have brought them to the notice of party chairman and leadership.
