Arid Agriculture University (AAU) Rawalpindi students have strongly protested against the charging of extra amount of Rs 1,200 to them by the university management in the name of mineral water.
“The university has started charging Rs 1,200 in the name of mineral water every month but clean drinking water is not being supplied, let alone mineral water,” the students reportedly said.
They complained that whenever they have to approach the university canteen to purchase a mineral water bottle even after paying mineral water charges to the university.
The students demanded the withdrawal of orders for charging mineral water fee adding that otherwise they would be forced to voice protest against this unjust move.
