The Sindh government has decided to appoint former Karachi police chief Shahid Hayat as Deputy Inspector General Crime Investigation Department of the Karachi Police, sources said on Friday.
According to reports, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has approved his appointment as the DIG CID.
The sources said that Hayat was expected to be given charge of ADIG of the CID too.
