Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi Tuesday defied his party’s nationwide call for civil disobedience by paying the electricity bill of his Lahore residence following a notice by Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO).

The PTI stalwart reportedly also paid the late payment penalty.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the previous week, PTI Chairman Imran Khan also paid electricity dues of his Lahore residence even though he has given a nationwide civil disobedience call. Khan later explained that the bill was paid by his sister who lives there.
