At least two people were killed and nine others injured on Wednesday in an explosion and firing incident that took place on Quetta’s Double Road.
Police said unknown assailants opened fire and hurled a bomb at two barber shops near the Sirki Kalan area of Double Road, killing two people and causing injuries to 9 others.
Shopkeepers pulled down their shutters soon after the blast took place that was heard far and wide. The blast also damaged some vehicles and smashed the glasses of nearby homes and shops.
