Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday directed for making a complete case on the Quaid-e-AzamSolarParkBahawalpur project along with proposed solutions and to bring it before the Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet for approval.
The minister held a meeting with Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan, Punjab finance secretary, and discussed the issues of Quaid-e-Azam Solar ParkBahawalpur.
The finance secretary gave a brief presentation on various issues being faced in completion of the project. The finance minister said that the government would make all possible efforts permissible under the rules and regulations to resolve the issues. He further directed the ministry of industries and production secretary to make a complete case on the project along with proposed solutions and to bring it in the Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet for approval.
The meeting was also attended Secretary Finance Dr Waqar Masood, Advisor Finance Division Rana Asad Amin, Additional Secretary Ministry of Water & Power Sohail Akbar Shah and Federal Board of Revenue Chairman Tariq Bajwa along with other senior officials.
