Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that his government was serving the masses relentlessly despite disturbance being caused by the prevailing sit-ins led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri in Islamabad.
Speaking to reporters before heading to Heathrow airport to return to Pakistan, Sharif said that he did not want to speak about those who were engaged in ‘negative politics’.
The prime minister, who made a two-night stopover in London on his way back home after attending the 69th UN General Assembly in New York, said Parliament has played a significant role in strengthening democracy in the country.
Sharif said that his government also wanted to remove anomalies in the system, where existed.
To a question, the premier said that he did not consider that judiciary was conspiring against the government.
Prime Minister Sharif, while commenting on his speech at the UN General Assembly session, said that his stance on Kashmir issue represented the aspirations of people of Pakistan.
