Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday said  ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogan was gaining momentum therefore it would be best for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to avoid public appearances for a few days.

Talking to reporters outside the Lahore High Court (LHC), Aitzaz Ahsan said temporary sit-ins and huge rallies cannot bring any change. “People will forget these events after few days,” said the senior PPP leader.

On Saturday, students gathered at an event to mark World Tourism Day at Al-Hamra Arts Centre forced MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif to cut short his speech and leave the venue by shouting ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans. Hamza is the son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and nephew of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

  1. Well said. His highness is suffering from jet lag. He needs a few days off. The bed at Waldroff hotel was not very comfortable. The chartered jet was below par and then this chap called Imran is getting under his skin.

  2. Mr.A.Z . would you have given this advice to ZAB? .He would have taken the bull (Imran) by his horns. I remember the late ZAB in a debate in Govt.college Lahore when he challenged Pakistan times editor to a boxing match. Why don't you ask his highness and his brother to attend the assemblies. Say "come Nawaz, come Shabaz" –we miss you. The country harks after you.
