As the deadline to submit asset details to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) nears its end, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak have not submitted their details.
Out of 1,174 members of national and provincial assemblies, only 305 members have submitted their asset-ownership details to the ECP.
On September 26, ECP had said that it has received the asset details of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
On July 9, the poll body had issued a notification, asking all lawmakers to submit details of their assets by September 30.
ECP had said that if lawmakers fail to submit the details, their membership from the relevant assembly would be suspended.
