The Congo virus claimed another life in the metropolitan city raising the death toll through Congo virus to two during the current year.
According to details, Muhammad Javed, 51, resident of Liaquat Abad died of Congo virus on Friday after which death toll of Congo virus during current year reached two.
The city director health claimed that the deceased had visited a cattle market few days earlier after which his condition got serious and he was diagnosed with high fever (Hampered fever) while after blood tests the deceased was found suffering from Congo virus.
Dr Zafar Ejaz told that during the recent year three cases of Congo virus were revealed wherein two people died while one successfully recovered.
He further added that parents should avoid taking their children to cattle markets as they could be easily exposed to the virus.
