Supreme Court judge Justice Ather Saeed has retired from his post after completing his meritorious service in the apex court.
A full court reference was held here Friday to bid farewell to Justice Saeed which was attended by the chief justice and judges of the Supreme Court, representatives and members of the Bar.
Justice Saeed was elevated as a Sindh High Court judge in 2005 and later in 2011 he was elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk paid rich tributes to Justice Saeed over his “commendable services for upholding the rights of the people while ensuring that tax collection machinery of the state functions efficiently”.
