The Ruet-e-Hilal committee tasked with the sighting of the new moon will meet on the 25th of September to sight the Zilhaj moon.
The meeting will be presided over by Ruet-e-Hilal committee chairman, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and will be attended by the Chief Meteorologist, Ulema as well as astronomers.
Speaking to the media, the Chief Meteorologist Tauseef Alam said, that it is highly unlikely that the new moon will be sighted on the 25th adding that it is likely that Eid-ul-Adha will fall on the 6th of October.
